Issue/Introduction

A new PTF was applied that delivered a new version of DBFSBPR. Does the Datacom Multi-User facility (MUF) need to be recycled to pick it up?

Environment

Component : CA DATACOM/DB

z/OS and z/VSE

Resolution

DBFSBPR is only used in DBUTLTY and not in the MUF; therefore, no MUF recycle is needed for this module.

Additional Information

For more information about the Console command NEWCOPY, please refer to the MUF Startup Options and Console Commands documentation section called NEWCOPY.
