ACF2 ACF2 - z/OS ACF2 - MISC

Issue/Introduction

IBM apar II05867 describes a problem with reloading a JES2 offload.

https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/apar/II05867
This means that the NODE from which the jobs were OFFLOADED
must be "KNOWN" to the NODE on which they are being received,
and the receiving node must be able to verify the USERID and
PASSWORD coded on the JOB cards for those jobs.
The OFFLOAD node must be TRUSTED.  How is this done in ACF2?

Environment

Release : 16.0

Component : CA ACF2 for z/OS

Resolution

This is a RACF concept, not ACF2.  ACF2 has written its own JES2 interface and does not use IBM's.  ACF2 does not have any problems with the off/reload process.
