Issue/Introduction

Can user Easyteieve program modules that have been compiled and linked in the RedHat 6.2 system copy to the RedHat 7.3 system?  (Can those user modules run on the RedHat 7.3 without recompile&link?)

Component : CA EASYTRIEVE REPORT GENERATOR FOR FOR LINUX PC

Resolution

As long as the same version of Easytrieve, which was used for original compilation, is correctly installed and running, there should be no problem with this from the Easytrieve side.
But there are definitely changes to 3rd party libraries, so a new compile and link is safer.
