Issue/Introduction

 APMPIA 20.4 Host Monitor agent failed to start with error regarding "/lib64/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.14' not found (required by /opt/tools/introscope/apmia/SystemEDGE/bin/sysedge)"

Cause

Due to the APMIA 20.4 Host Monitor extension being built on a RHEL version newer than 6.10.

Resolution

 

Provided workaround suggestions ( try an older version of Host Monitor extension)
and EA build of a potential fix that would be included in the upcoming DX APM SaaS 20.6 release.
