Issue/Introduction
Having an issue where a storage group which ran out of space.
There is a command in SYSVIEW, SMSG, which shows storage groups and %free and %used.
Wanting to setup an alert if a storage group is at a certain % but cannot determine if there is a variable for this when looking in VARS.
Is there a variable that can be setup for this type of alert?

Environment
SYSVIEW 15.0 & 16.0 - z/OS supported releases -
Resolution
The DEVUSED% variable (SMS DASD used percentage) can be used for a single SMS volume.
Currently, there are no alerts for SMS Storage Groups but there is an entry in SCM (MVS SMS) that monitors them:
SCM IMOD SCM_STORGRP
