Issue/Introduction

Is there a way to 'stack' usergroups into a hierarchy? Meaning a top level usergroup, and multiple underneath.

Resolution

Usergroup objects by themselves do not relate at all to each other - each is just a set of permissions and privileges that the assigned user has applied. 

So while there is no 'direct' way to create a hierarchy, by designing your usergroups with a base level permission set and then other groups that expand upon that, it is possible to create a tiered permission set.
