Issue/Introduction

We have multiple Cisco Meraki devices modeling in Spectrum as part of VNA integration inventory. SDN Manager inventory is not clearing out the models after disabling VNA integration. This used to work in 10.3.

Environment

Release : 10.4.1

Component : Spectrum Core / SpectroSERVER

Cause

Due to a behavior seen on VNA integration, upon disable, VNA origin models were moved to a different container. To prevent this, code changes were implemented in 10.4.1 - these code changes also prevent SNMP type models to remain after VNA is disabled.

Resolution

A workaround is to change value of the attribute "is_Existed_Model" (0x133a9) to "yes". This will allow SNMP models to delete on VNA disable.

You can do so on multiple devices using Locator Search and Attribute Editor.
