Issue/Introduction

The Oracle weblogic agent appears in Investigator, but without any metric.
Autoprobe log contain this error message

Unable to instrument.  Invalid settings provided: 2 The directives directory <wily_agent_path>/core/config/hotdeploy does not exist

Environment

Release : 10.7.0

Component : APM Agents

Cause

The error message says that the hotdeploy folder could not be created, or accessed

Resolution

1. Check the path reported in the error message
2. Confirm it exist
3. Confirm the user running the Weblogic, has read/write permissions on that folder
4. If the folder does not exist, as a workaround, you may try to manually create it, and restart the application.
