CA Virtual Privilege Manager CA Privileged Identity Management Endpoint (PIM)

Issue/Introduction

Looking at the optput of secons when starting PIM agent, I see:

VeRsIoN: 12.81-0 (3724) Complied On: Apr 16 2020 02:32:03 Kernel: 3.10-862.el7.x86_64_RH75 _LINUX70-3100-862-RHELX8_64.X86_64 STOP 30034

Can you tell me why the kernel version of the server and the kernel version when running PIM are different?

Environment

Release : 12.8

Component : CA ACCESS CONTROL - AUTHENTICATION UNIX

Resolution

The important part of the line is "Compiled On:" Is shows the date/time that this version of PIM was compiled on and the kernel that was running on the machine that PIM was compiled on. It has nothing to do with the kernel that the instance of PIM is running on.
