Logstash processes are terminating even after 3 logstash instances in PROD

Issue/Introduction

We've modified the configuration in Production and now have 3 logstash processes running, each is still maxing out at 50k metrics and then crashes. We were at around 70/80k metrics before with one process, how can we have 150k processes?

Release : 10.7.0

Cause

Server hitting capacity limits

Resolution

Changed logstash metric clamp from 80K to 50K and added error logging. No recurrence in 17 days.
