Some of the out of the box attributes such as Page Layout, Name, ID etc. missing tilde (~) sign when set as hidden.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

1. Create custom object.
2. Go to Attributes tab and set default values for Page Layout, Name, ID.
3. Go to Views tab and click on Fields for General View and set them as Hidden.
4. Click on [Layout: Create] and go to Section properties.
5. Notice under Selected column Page Layout, Name, ID appear with missing tilde (~) to indicate they are Hidden.

Expected Results: Attributes should be displayed with tilde (~) indicating they are Hidden

Resolution

This was reviewed as DE55330 and determined it would not be fixed. See workaround below.

Workaround: It has been observed that the impacted attributes still act as Hidden, but if needed:

  1. Move the Attributes to the Right Column in the Section
  2. Then move the attributes back to the Available Column
  3. Click Save

This should make the attributes hidden again if they don't act already as hidden.
