QUESTION - Will Upgrading EEM affect Job Processing?

We are planning to upgrade our EEM from 12.5 to 12.6 (see case #31892937) we know that the EEMs will need to be down to do the activity and the WCCs will be inaccessible as well since it depends on EEM but will job processing be affected?
For example if a group has multiple jobs scheduled to run during the course of the activity (EEM upgrade) will these jobs still run as scheduled or do we have to stop jobs from running?

Scheduler does not use EEM. Shutting down EEM should not impact job scheduling. However, Application Server uses EEM and will not function if EEM is not available unless it's running in Native Security mode. It is a better practice to stop AE and WCC if/when you are performing EEM maintenance and then restart after that work is completed.
