Issue/Introduction


We're running an AdminUI and when we try to login the AdminUI, the browser

shows the error message :

    username and password do not match

We re-registered the AdminUI, and we were able to login again, but
just after the login, then the AdminUI shutdowns on its own. We
restarted the AdminUI, and we do get still the same error message :

    username and password do not match

We checked and the rngd service is running, so there's no issue with
entropy.

How can we fix that?

Environment


  AdminUI 12.7SP0 on RedHat 7; 

  Policy Server 12.7SP0 on RedHat 7;
  Policy Store on CA Directory 12.6;

    both AdminUI and Policy Server are running on the same machine;

Resolution


Upgrade the AdminUI, AdminUI Prereq, Policy Server and Policy Store to

12.7SP1 to fix this issue as per documentation :

  Defects Fixed in 12.7.01

    00770808 DE300558 Administrative UI fails to register with Policy
    Server if the default bootstrap timeout expires.
