Could not load MIB and receive error "The MIB SNMPv2-SMI referenced by the selected file appears to contain more than one MIB definition"

Issue/Introduction

I'm trying to load the MIBs for Ciena 6500 devices and I receive below error:
The MIB SNMPv2-SMI referenced by the selected file appears to contain more than one MIB definition. Each MIB definition needs to be in a separate file.

Environment

Release : 10.3

Component : Spectrum Core / SpectroSERVER

Cause

The SNMPv2-SMI is referenced in the MIB expected to import, however the SNMPv2-SMI file is missing. Hence MIB Tools is unable to reference the file and the MIB import fails. 

Resolution

Locate a copy of SNMPv2-SMI MIB and place into the same directory of the other MIB files you are trying to import.
