CA Configuration Automation (CCA) will use the following key metric:
Physical Sockets information is obtained via the discovered data within CCA. Certain rules are considered while identifying Physical Socket and excluding the guest machines. It is mandatory to have the Hardware, Network, Storage details to be discovered via Network Discovery Gateway or Blueprint. Please note that without discovering the Hardware, Network, Storage details, it is difficult to classify the Physical Sockets.
