GlobalAutoHold Behaviour Changed When Child Jobs CHANGE_STATUS or FORCE_STARTJOB

Issue/Introduction

When the scheduler is running in GlobalAutoHold mode, the child jobs behavior on manual CHANGE_STATUS or FORCE_STARTJOB changed after CA WAAE r11.3.6.SP5(the down stream job goes to  ON HOLD where it has to be in same state).

Environment

Release : 11.3.6 SP6 and carried till 11.3.6 SP8

Component : CA Workload Automation AE (AutoSys)

Cause

This is known issue which is observed in 11.3.6 SP6 and carried till 11.3.6 SP8.

Resolution

You may have to apply the patch T42B404 to avoid this issue.

You may have to contact support to get this patch and this issue is addressed in r12.0 as well.
