CA APM Agent compatability for shell script application

Issue/Introduction

An application which is combination of shell scripts, uses on-prem servers as a landing area for data feeds and push data to Google Cloud.
It uses Shell Scripts and Google SDK to push data to GCP.

Environment

Release : 10.7.0

Component : APM Agents

Cause

Not supported with the out-of-the-box Introscope Agent.

Resolution

This is a custom Instrumentation.

Some tips to start off: 

Either can be done using APMIA / EPAgent or if wants to monitor whether the Process is running one can use

to monitor states or return values, could call EPA/IA REST API via curl from the script.
