Subpage of custom subobject is not created under master object for partition

Issue/Introduction

When creating a subobject for a master object which is partitioned and Edit View of master object been previously updated, it is observed that the subpage of the subobject is created in the system partition only of the master object and not the custom partition.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

1. Create master object under partition
2. Go to Views and click on [Layout: Edit] and make any changes to General section and Save
3. Create subobject under master object you created in Step 1
4. Navigate to master object and go to Views tab
5. Select Views for non System partition and click on [Layout: Edit] and observe no Subpage for custom subobject was created.

Expected Results: Subpage for custom subobject should be created for non system partition.

Actual Results: Subpage for custom subobject is not created for non system partition. 

Environment

Release : 15.5.1 and higher versions

Component : CA PPM STUDIO

Cause

This is caused by DE55232

Resolution

DE55232, Fixed in 15.9, also in the patch for 15.8.1.2.

Workaround: Click Restore Defaults on the Views tab of the Master Object.

Important: This would undo any customizations so not always viable unless the master object was just created.
