What cause the following error message?

2020.04.01.11:49:29.874   ERROR IM Provisioning Server - :ETA_E_0008<MAC>, Windows NT Account '<username>' on 'NT_Endpoint_01' modification failed: Connector Server Add failed: NetServerGetInfo: T[o[ T[rXJn (garbled characters)

Environment

Release : 12.x, 14.x

Component : IdentityMinder(Identity Manager)

Resolution

If the error message is not garbled, you will get the following error message.

2020.04.01.11:49:29.874   ERROR IM Provisioning Server - :ETA_E_0008<MAC>, Windows NT Account '<user name>' on 'NT_Endpoint_01' modification failed: Connector Server Add failed: NetServerGetInfo: The server service is not started
======================

The server service may be down or not be installed on the Windows Endpoint.
If it is down, restart the service. Otherwise install this feature on the windows machine.
