Removing Permission failed with 'Permission already removed' error

Issue/Introduction

When I access Access Module and remove Permission from a user, the request failed with "Permissions already removed. Remove action for <username> will not be performed, as <Permission> has already removed." error.



What is the problem?

 

Environment

Identity Portal 14.x
Identity Manager 14.x

Resolution

This is a benign failure which indicates that Identity Manager's Provisioning Role that had been assigned to the user, but somehow removed from the user. So another remove action from Identity Portal's User Console failed.

Perhaps manually Provisioning Role assignment has been removed on Identity Manager's side.
