Issue/Introduction

Using Scheduler r11.0 and JCLCheck Common Component r11.0 for SYNCHK command on jobs. 

Scheduler r11.0 is compatible with z/OS 2.4, however there is no z/OS 2.4 compatibility information found on JCLCheck r11.0.  

Environment

JCLCheck Workload Automation or JCLCheck Common Component release 11.0

z.OS 2.4

 

Resolution

JCLCheck Common Component is a license-freed and is distributed with Scheduler in a separate product installation file.
JCLCheck Workload Automation is a fully license product. 
Scheduler uses JCLCheck Common Component if the fully license product is not found.  

JCLCheck release 12.0 is compatible with z/OS 2.4.   
JCLCheck r11.0 is not compatible with z/OS 2.4 as r11.0 was dropped from support in 2014.

Scheduler r11.0 users need JCLCheck release 12.0 for z/OS 2.4 support.
