Are there any recommendations regarding changing the value for YSCNLMT?
Environment
2E 8.7
All Supported Operating Systems
Resolution
YSCNLMT is used only for the subfile related functions - DSPFIL, EDTFIL and SELRCD.
Typically it is set to a bigger value for files having a lot of data.
You can definitely change the value if desired.
The shipped out of the box value is 500, but can be changed using YCHGMDLVAL. It can also be changed within a function through the use of the *PGM.*Scan limit value.
Allowed/valid values for YSCNLMT are 1- 999999999.
