Issue/Introduction

How can I see if I have SRAdmin and Secure Domain Connector installed on my Spectrum box?

Environment

Release : 10.x

Component : Spectrum Core / SpectroSERVER

Resolution

For SRAdmin you can see if there is a service for that in Windows
its called SPECTRUM Remote Admin.

The default directory for Windows is C:/Program Files/SRAdmin. The default directory for Linux is /sw/SPECTRUM/SRAdmin.

SDC should never be installed on the SS, although in 10.4.0 and higher we have SDC TrapX but that is different then SDC. If you have a need to monitor remote devices on the other side of a firewall. Lets say for example
you have a remote site but its not big enough for a SpectroSERVER
lets say you are in Capital City(ABC) but you have a small site in some city(xyz)
you can have a server in (xyz) use SDC
that way the server in (xyz) acts like a mini SS and polls all of the devices and sends the info back to the SDM.

Check to see if you have anything configured in the SDM
