We are getting daily below critical alerts. We want to change the severity from critical to major.
Failed to insert QoS data into the database, check that the database is running
But we do not want to make the change through a script, e.g., preprocessing. Please share another method to change the severity of this alarm.

Resolution
If you need the data_engine alarm:
"Failed to insert QoS data into the database, check that the database is running"
to directly default to Major you can use Raw Configure to change the alarm_severity parameter in the data_engine to 4 instead of 5 (Critical), but then all data_engine alarms will default to Major.
Otherwise, you would have to work through your Account Team/Customer Account Manager and/or Development to raise an enhancement request to make that specific data_engine alarm severity editable.
