Issue/Introduction

Could you please help us with the compatibility information for vendor products available in our environment for CA APM agent with below configurations?

 .Net remote monitoring 


What I mean: CA.net agent monitors the application directly where the application is using .net remoting in-between multiple modules of their application and user wants to accomplish complete monitoring of their application in a single place is this possible ?

Release : 10.7.0

Component : APM Agents

Resolution

We monitor Client calls and Server calls in .NET Remoting. I don't think we can trace cross process transactions unless some very recent enhancements have taken place in the upcoming release. By default, any .NET Agent can only monitor .NET apps on the system where it is configured since it relies on the system environment settings.
