Issue/Introduction

Informatica jobs failing with below error (agent's plugin_log_informatica and transmitter logs).

JLMException: Unable to establish connection with Informatica Server.
Context: IJLMDriver::getConnectionEx(<domain_name>,<integration_service_name>,360)

Environment

Component : All Supported System Agent/Agent for Informatica

Resolution

The issue is mostly due to domains.infa file that is referenced by Workload Automation Agent to connect to the Informatica domain.

Workload Automation Agent uses the same domains.infa file present in Informatica to resolve domain connectivity hostname and port number while attempting to connect to the integration service.

In order to determine this, login to the WA agent server and verify that the following are set properly:

1) INFA_DOMAINS_FILE is set as an environment variable.
2) The file pointed by INFA_DOMAINS_FILE environment variable exists and is valid.
