Issue/Introduction

After configuring SAML, end-users are reporting that requests created in Service Catalog are not being generated in Service Desk. It was working before configuring SAML in Service Catalog. Integration between Service Desk and SAML is working correctly.

Important: Integration between Service Catalog and Service Desk depends on IT Process Automation.

Below the error message in IT Process Automation side after configuring SAML in Service Catalog.

ERROR  [cecd6bb9-dfa1-4701-8676-b7e67ed82229] saaj.soap --- - SAAJ0537: Invalid Content-Type. Could be an error message instead of a SOAP message

Environment

CA Service Catalog 17.3
CA Service Catalog 17.2
CA Service Catalog 17.1

Resolution

(1) Go to %USM_HOME%view\webapps\usm\WEB-INF\web.xml;

(2) Search for "SAML Filter Mapping";

(3) Make sure you have the following content
