ESP Workload Automation

Issue/Introduction

I have installed ESP S1609 and applied all the latest maintenance for it. There were some HOLDACTIONs which basically came down to restarting ESP with the following:

S ESPWLM,,,PARM=(ZIIP,PURGE,RELOAD)

I notice that during initialization ESP is receiving the following messages:

CAS9180E - CPU 0FD088 REQUIRES A LMP KEY TO RUN PROD (WU)
CAS9180E - CPU 0FD088 REQUIRES A LMP KEY TO RUN PROD (WV)
CAS9180E - CPU 0FD088 REQUIRES A LMP KEY TO RUN PROD (WW)

The strange thing is, we don't even have products WU, WV or WW? The LMP code we've been using is WT.

Environment

Release : 11.4

Component : CA ESP WORKLOAD AUTOMATION

Resolution

When you installed ESP S1609 and applied all the latest maintenance for it you must have installed these extra ESP products.
These features do have a cost. If you did not have them in ESPWA 11.4 then you will not have an entitlement for them.

When download ESP 11.4 S1609, it come with the FMIDs for these products too.

CD7ZB40 /*CA ESP ENCORE                              */
CD70B40 /*CA ESP SERVICE GOVERNOR       */
CD71B40 /*CA ESP HIGH AVAILABILITY            */

For ESP 12.0, FMIDs are:

CD7ZC00 /*CA ESP ENCORE                        */
CD70C00 /*CA ESP SERVICE GOVERNOR  */
CD71C00 /*CA ESP HIGH AVAILABILITY       */

Run an SMP/E DELFMID job to delete the 3 unwanted FMIDs from ESP SMP/E zones, refresh the target libraries and restart ESP.

A quick way to stop these CAS9180E messages ASAP, is to disable these product options by renaming the following modules from the ESP load library:

CYBHA000 - High Availability Option, product code WU
CYBHP000 - Service Governor option, product code WV
CYBRM000,CYBRM003 - Encore, product code WW
