Issue/Introduction

What fields in Microsoft Project (MSP) do ETCs and Actuals map to from Clarity PPM?

Environment

Release : All Supported Releases

Component : CA PPM SAAS MICROSOFT PROJECT (MSP)

Resolution

• ETC maps to Remaining Work.
• Actuals maps to Actual work in MSP
  • Note: Actual Work added in MSP is not saved back to Clarity PPM unless track mode is set to None (Time not tracked in Clarity PPM Timesheets)
• Actual Work (Actuals) + Remaining Work (ETC) map to the Work field in MSP.
• These mappings can't be updated.
  • Also as per the documentation referenced below, you can map only the existing Clarity PPM attributes that have not been mapped and custom attributes of the Project, Resource, Task, Assignment, and Team objects with the Microsoft Project fields
