IM Approval Task Approve/Reject Task Session Attribute for PX Policy

Issue/Introduction

In an approval task, how can we get the value selected (i.e. approved or rejected) and use that in a PX Policy?

Resolution

We were able to use a PX Policy of type=UI with ValidateOnSubmit of the Approval Task with the following Data Element:

Category: Tasks and Events
Type: Task Information
Function: Task Session Attribute
Attribute Name: ACTION_PERFORMED

This will retrieve either the value approved or rejected and you can then have an entry condition based on that data element and value.
