PDTDIUC1 CONSUMES MORE CPU

Issue/Introduction

A new application was run  and the job ran for a long time with  more CPU than usual. The Strobe report shows that module PDTDIUC1 is consuming more CPU after these two tests.
1-Application ran with Detector enabled, TOTAL CPU TIME=34.24 and TOTAL ELAPSED TIME= 69.8 min
2-Application ran with Detector disabled, TOTAL CPU TIME=19.37 and TOTAL ELAPSED TIME= 44.7 min

Resolution

We reviewed provided documents and we suggest using "USECOLLTASKS" option. It  will reduce the CPU consumption and mainly by PDTDIUC1 module where the CPU increase occurs. Refer to PDT  documentation about USECOLLTASKS PDT Parmlib option. "Customize the Product Using PDT Parmlib"
