Issue/Introduction

Can CMEW users be identified in the mainframe task, their userid does not appear?  

Environment

Release : 12.0

Component : CA CM Enterprise Workbench

Resolution

To find the USERID associated with the spawned task, look in the output from the EN$DPMSG - 



On the command line type: find 'approver id' and hit enter. This will display the USERID associated to the task.




If this information is not present in the spawned task it could 1 or both of the below:

1. The DD statement
//EN$DPMSG DD SYSOUT=* is not coded or commented out in the spawned task
2. There is a setting that is have disabled on the server. To resolve this, go thru the Deployment tool fix it. In the Deployment tool, under general options, the second checkbox need to be enabled. The checkbox is called WebUI.AwaitingApprovalsLookup. Turn it on and deploy
