Spectrum Remote Admin (SRAdmin) service terminated unexpectedly

Issue/Introduction

When running Spectrum 10.3.1, the SRAdmin process may begin to terminate unexpectedly and often. This can be seen in the Windows Event Log. When starting SRAdmin in debug mode, you may see the following error:

sradmin.exe --debug
Debugging "SPECTRUM Remote Admin"
Failed to bind to socket. Response code 10048
Failed to bind to socket. Response code 10048
Failed to create any listeners

Environment

Release : 10.3.1

Component : Spectrum Core / SpectroSERVER

Cause

This is caused when running a large NCM sync task.

Resolution

Please reach out to Spectrum support to obtain the Spectrum_10.03.01.D32 patch. This patch will resolve the issue. After the patch is installed, SRAdmin will also need to be re-installed. These steps are outlined in the patch releases notes under the Post-Installation section.
