Issue/Introduction

We are facing an issue during data publishing to DB2 database table which has auto generated ID, please find the details below and provide us help 

 

Error:

Error -798 for Row #1 in table USER. SQLSTATE = 428C9

[IBM][CLI Driver][DB2/LINUXX8664] SQL0798N  A value cannot be specified for column "ID" which is defined as GENERATED ALWAYS.  SQLSTATE=428C9

Environment

Release : 4.8

Component : CA Test Data Manager

Resolution

In datamaker, we have an option to exclude the column. Please follow below steps and try publish through datamaker.

*) Right click on data set and choose, "Actions for registered objects"
*) From list of tables, right click on table "USER" and select "Mainain Table"
*) You will see list of columns in new window. From this, make changes for ID column with Exclude value as "ALL" as shown below and save it.
*) After these changes, publish the table and let us know.
