Nimsoft Robot Watcher Service error:Error in NTServStopUnable to open Service Control Manager to perform service state change

Issue/Introduction

On the local robot after trying to shutdown the controller, we received a cascading error.

Environment

Release : 9.0.2

Component : UIM - ROBOT

Cause

- Windows security/Local System user permissions/policy

Resolution

When trying to stop the Nimsoft Watcher Controller, it failed with a cascading error message:

Error in NTServStop
Unable to open Service Control Manager to perform state change

We had to first kill the robot process.

Then we ran the "Nimsoft Service Controller" as an administrator:

The robot service was running as the Local System user.

Stopping and starting the service from Services.mcs works fine.

Rt-click the Nimsoft Service Controller to 'Run As Administrator' allows the controller application to shutdown/start the service without any error/issue.
