Issue/Introduction

Description:

When doing a temp shutdown and restart of CA Top Secret, the following prompt is issued:

TSS9080A ENTER YOUR OPERATORID/PASSWORD FOR MODIFY ACCOUNTABILITY

What is needed in the reply to this prompt? Is the MSCA required for this?

Solution:

When responding to the TSS9080A, the reply needs to contain the acid and password of an acid that has the CONSOLE attribute.

For example, if ACID BOB has a password of ABC, and a TSS ADD(BOB) CONSOLE was done to give the CONSOLE attribute, reply to the TSS9080A message with:

nn,BOB/ABC

where 'nn' is the reply number for the TSS9080A message.

This does not require the MSCA, an acid connected to the MSCA, or the MSCA's password. Just an id and password with the CONSOLE attribute.
