Issue/Introduction

Is it possible to set up an alert based on the specifics of when a Crypto SYS1.CSF (VSAM) dataset gets updated?

Cause

CEM does not monitor the actual update made to a file.

Resolution

By design, CEM does not monitor the specifics of an update to a file (in this case Vsam). CEM does monitor 'Access' to these files, and it can also reveal the Access level, but does not monitor the actual update that takes place.
