AutoSchedule updates Summary Task Dates Incorrectly

Issue/Introduction

When running autoschedule on a project in the Gantt, the Start and Finish dates of one of the summary level tasks do not correctly reflect the dates of the subtasks underneath it.

For example, the latest child task date is 13-NOV-2020. The summary level finish date is also this same date prior to running autoschedule. However, after autoschedule, the summary level task incorrectly shows a much later date, 30-NOV-2023

Resolution

This can happen if there is a corrupt task on the project that is not showing in the Gantt. The corrupt task having a specific summary task set as its parent task in the WBS_PARSEQ column in the PRTASK table will make it to where its start and finish dates are taken into account when recalculating the summary level task dates after running autoschedule. 

To get the corrupt task dates to not be taken into account, it can either have its parent task updated via xog or it can be deleted (and optionally recreated) from the Task list view.
