How to debug the Selenium script after recording with Chrome Extension?

Environment

Release : All releases which support Chrome Extension

Component : PACKAGE CA BLAZEMETER

Cause

None

Resolution

When the recording is done using Chrome extension, it is recommended to validate the Selenium script using the below options:
. Run the Selenium script in Taurus to make sure it runs fine.
OR
. Debug the script in Chrome extension itself by clicking the drop down in the Edit and select the "Selenium" option and run it. Here the script can be  configured with variables if needed.

If the script runs successfully using the above options, then upload it to BlazeMeter and run it.

Additional Information

If the script fails during playback then goto the Errors/Details page and click on the Video link and look at the Test steps which shows where the test step is broken.
