Issue/Introduction

Broadcom provides proactive notifications to keep customers informed about critical issues, security vulnerabilities, and product lifecycle updates for the Privileged Access Management suite of products. Subscribing ensures you receive timely information directly via email. The notification types include the following.

  • Critical Alerts: High Impact or Pervasive software problems (HIPERs) and critical support announcements.
  • Product Advisories: Configuration updates, best practices, and feature enhancements.
  • Release Announcements: Product lifecycle notices including General Availability (GA), End of Life (EOL), and End of Service (EOS).
  • Security Advisories: Potential security risks, vulnerabilities, and available remediations.

Environment

The Privileged Access Management suite includes:

  • CA Privileged Access Manager - Cloakware Password Authority (PA)
  • CA Privileged Access Manager - Server Control (PAMSC)
  • CA Privileged Access Manager (PAM)
  • CA Privileged Identity Management Endpoint (PIM)

Resolution

Follow these steps to manage your subscriptions on the Broadcom Support Portal:

  1. Log in to the Broadcom Support Portal.
  2. Click on your Account Name located in the upper-right corner of the dashboard.
  3. Select Notification Settings from the dropdown menu.
  4. In the Search by Product Name field, type Privileged.
  5. Locate the desired PAM product in the list.
  6. Toggle the checkoff boxes for the specific notification types you wish to receive. Recommendation: Select all boxes to ensure full coverage.
  7. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Submit to save your changes.

Alternatively, you can access the Product Updates and Critical Alerts page directly to view and check subscriptions for all entitled products.
