In-Place Upgrade of the Apache Web Agent on Linux

Issue/Introduction

After running the r12.52 web agent for Apache on Linux installation bin to perform an inplace upgrade, the installed version is still the old version of the web agent.

Environment

Release : 12.52

Component : SITEMINDER -WEB AGENT FOR APACHE

Resolution

The upgrade process requires that the web agent environment variable script (ca_wa_env.sh) be run prior to running the installation .bin to perform an in-place upgrade.

This can either be done using the existing web agent environment variable script prior to upgrade.
