Issue/Introduction

Can you provide the latest documentation for exporting reports to spreadsheets?

I tried going through the Export link and received an .XML file.

If I keep on clicking NEXT and getting to FINISH, the document does not provide an option for Excel.

Environment

Output Management Web Viewer 12.1
Microsoft Excel

Cause

There is no "Excel" checkbox.

Resolution

The application is behaving as designed. OM Web Viewer will export into a standard spreadsheet format (XML file) that Excel should be able to open. Depending on the user's Windows' configuration (file/application association - Mime type), exporting the report may instantiate Excel.
