When trying to save or amend a workflow process, CA Identity Manager (IM) workpoint designer its failing with the following
------------------------------- Exception returned from the HTTPPostMessage send. Error code = 1 Error message = ProcessUpdatePvt.save() returned java.sql.SQLException. Error message = A duplicate key violation has occurred -------------------------------
Note: Running idCheck does not show any issue to fix.

Resolution
After making configuration changes to the "workpoint-client.properties" file you MUST Restart IM on the virtual appliance (vAPP) (use the "Restart_IM" command) after making configuration changes.
