Issue/Introduction

UIM appears to be down, cannot get in to the hub or get into the NAS Config

Environment

UIM 9.x
Linux

 

Cause

Looking at hub.log, following messages confirms hub.cfg was corrupt

hub: nat_init: failed to open config hub.cfg
hub: parsecfg: failed to open config hub.cfg

And, nas probe fail to start

Resolution

  1. service nimbus stop
  2. copy good hub.cfg copy to /hub directory from backup directory
  3. service nimbus start
