How to address a fatal error with pdm_configure in 17.3 release when using Oracle database?

Configure.log shows an error like below:

Release : 17.3 or higher


64bit Oracle client module is needed for 17.3.  Key concerns are the highlighted entries in the above configure.log excerpt.


Install Oracle 64 bit client (Administrator Client is preferred) and use that location for the Oracle Home Path value in the pdm_configure screen
