The Data Aggregator IP is wrong in CAPC

Issue/Introduction

Under Administration > Monitored Items Management > Monitored Devices > All Data Aggregators the data aggregator shows the wrong IP address

 

Environment

CAPM 3.x

Cause

alias set on the DA

Resolution

To resolve do the following:
  1. Go to Administration > Monitored Items Management > Monitored Devices > All Data Aggregators
  2. If the IP is wrong, or the format is not "Data Aggregator:IP" then check for an alias
  3. Go to Inventory > Items > Devices
  4. Search for "Aggregator"
  5. After clicking the link click the edit button
  6. Make sure the IP address matches the real IP of the data aggregator and save the change
The data aggregator IP should not show correctly under "All Data Aggregators"
