We are experiencing some strange behaviour in new Endevor install with the following messages displayed on a blank screen like:
ICH408I USER(######## ) GROUP(group ) NAME(name )
iprfx.iqual.ENVIRON.ADMN CL(class )
INSUFFICIENT ACCESS AUTHORITY
ACCESS INTENT(READ ) ACCESS ALLOWED(NONE )
***
ICH408I USER(######## ) GROUP(group ) NAME(name )
iprfx.iqual.iqual2.PMENU.ENVRMENT CL(class )
INSUFFICIENT ACCESS AUTHORITY
FROM iprfx.iqual.*.PMENU.ENVRMENT (G)
ACCESS INTENT(READ ) ACCESS ALLOWED(NONE )
This logon id ‘########’ is a developer role which has no access to the ‘ADMN’ environment and ‘ENVIRONMENT’ function.
We have the same set up in another Endevor set up and users with this role will not receive the above messages when they access Endevor during the TSO session.
Do you have any ideas on why these messages displayed between the Endevor panels?
Release : 18.0
Component : CA Endevor Software Change Manager
The problem was fixed by changing the LOG=ASIS to LOG=NOFAIL in the NAMEQU ENVIRONMENT_ACCESS macro in the Endevor security table and the message ICH408I disappeared.
