Issue when upgrading Autosys agent on Linux PROD environment

Issue/Introduction

We experienced issues when we were trying to upgrade the autosys agent from version 11.3 to version 11.5 on our pool of Linux servers in production environment.

Some processes not related to Autosys were randomly killed at the same time the agent was upgraded as you can see on the following logs:

Cause

RedHat Linux 7.6.

 

Resolution

- Kindly start using /etc/init.d startup scripts (WAAE-agent.<INS>)
