Issue/Introduction

Description:

The BACKUP Checkpoint dataset includes a compression macro for use during the restore of the unit.

Solution:

The backup checkpoint dataset contains the rows from the checkpoint dataset as well as SAS code. This code is a CMPSFILE macro that is used to determine which files to compress when restoring from tape to DASD. It does not affect the checkpoint file that is restored by the MICS RESTOREjob. The sp.SOURCE(RESTORE) code knows how to handle the SAS statements that are in the backup checkpoint file.
