 What is the CNTLFILE used for on the Batch Automap Compare JCL?

Resolution

The Batch Automap JCL provides a method to create a Compare Strategy using batch JCL. One of the DD's in the JCL is a CNTLFILE.The CNTLFILE is a temporary file for internal use. The file can be a sequential dataset defined as FB 133. This file may or may not be used depending on the processing being done.
